Taking the next step
We’re glad that you’re here.
Have you been attending Loxley Church for some time now and are ready to take the next steps? This could be engaging in a small group, seeking membership, or even looking into baptism. We are thrilled and want to take those steps with you!
Interested in Volunteering?
“Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Engage is designed to offer you the opportunity to learn what we’re all about here at Loxley Church.
Sessions are covered in consecutive weeks and will repeat monthly, culminating in the opportunity to become a member of Loxley Church.
The purpose of Engage is for YOU to be fully engaged in loving, leading, and living in Christ.
“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4
Baptism is a visible act with a spiritual meaning. It is a symbol of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It is a symbol of your new life as a Christian and connects you to the body of Christ.
Baptism does not make you a believer or save you, only your faith in Christ can do that (Ephesians 2:8-9) Baptism tells the world that you have decided to follow Jesus. It is the wedding ring of your relationship with Jesus. The ring doesn’t make you married, it simply lets the world know that you are!
“Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
“For god so loved the world that he gave HIs only son, that whosoever believes in Him will have everlasting life.” John 3:16
We believe that God sent his son, Jesus, into the world to offer salvation to everyone. Have you accepted the gift of salvation? If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ!
If you would like further prayer or information about taking the next steps in your faith, schedule an appointment to declare your salvation.
